Class A – Special Award Puppy Dog or Bitch
1st – Gataj Honeysuckle
A delightful six-month-old girl with plenty to admire for one so young. Presents a well-balanced head with a pleasing, sweet expression created by correctly placed eyes and overall finish. Moved confidently around the ring with an easy, free-flowing action, maintaining her outline throughout. Beautifully prepared and sympathetically presented, giving every indication of a promising future.
2nd – Serenlas She’s on Trend
Another appealing six-month-old puppy girl who impressed with a happy, confident temperament. Stood on a well-constructed front and used herself well on the move, covering the ground with purpose. Well presented and handled to advantage, just preferred the overall maturity and expression of the winner on the day.
Class B – Special Award Post Graduate Dog or Bitch
1st – Gataj Just Like Jesse James
An attractive twelve-month-old dog with lovely breed type and balanced proportions. Particularly liked the super sweet expression and clean overall outline, enhanced by a correct coat in excellent condition. Moved soundly with good reach and drive while retaining a pleasing topline. Presented in first-class order and shown to advantage.
2nd – Samshernik Penny Lover
A graceful twenty-two-month-old bitch who has much to commend. Carries a beautifully moulded head with correctly set ears and expressive eyes, giving the true gentle Collie expression. Good bone without coarseness, supported by strong legs and a firm topline. Moved steadily and with balance throughout. A quality exhibit who simply met a particularly polished winner today.
Class C – Special Award Open Dog or Bitch
1st – Most Majestic Timeless Touch at Samshernik
A mature four-year-old bitch of excellent breed character. Cleanly finished head with the desired refined appearance and a lovely, soft expression. Well boned with sound limbs and moved with the effortless, smooth gait expected of the breed, maintaining balance at all times. A thoroughly honest exhibit presented in excellent condition.
2nd – Serenlas Black Magic
An impressive four-and-a-half-year-old dog of pleasing size and unmistakably aristocratic appearance. Carries a good coat of correct texture and presents an elegant, graceful picture when standing. Held a balanced outline and showed himself well throughout. A stylish exhibit who was just edged out by the winner’s precision on the move.
