First of all I would like to say thank you to the West of England Collie Society and their committee for the invitation to judge at one of my favourite grounds and show. Also to Roz MacDonald for stewarting for me flying solo, thank you. This is a very friendly and relaxing club with fabulous food. Well, the weather held off, only a few very light showers then the heavens opened up later in the afternoon, hopefully everyone was in their cars driving home.

1st Scamp – Aaronwell Ayebeecee at Marketdene – 9 ½ yrs, tri dog well groomed, dk eyes and good under jaw and good angulation, tail a little short and moved well.

1st Bolts – Gataj Bonne Eddie – 6 ½ month old light s/w with lovely head kind dk almond shaped eyes, ears a bit wide, great angulation bit loose in rear end but plenty of time to tighten this up. Beautiful tail of good length so please Jo Denton got him on the move. BPB.

1st Melonie – Glasgowhill’s Mysterious and Magical (Imp CAN) – Tri male just shy of 9mths lovely white markings, great length of body, held top line on the move lovely head to handle, great under jaw, correct muzzle and well placed ears, beautiful dk almond shaped eyes; needs to tidy up around the ears and clean the stuff off as well. Lovely length of neck and great white collar, lovely lg white tipped tail of very good length, angulation front and rear good, mod bone. Very unsettled in the ring.
2nd Melonie – Wisewyn Eternal Life (Imp PRT) – 7mth Merle missed his first class and was completely unsettled Dk almond eyes, round muzzle, deep through but still growing, black lips nice under jaw, slight stop and lovely placement of ears, used well. Good length of neck and muscular. Still growing into himself, good mod bone and good angulations.

1st Trace – Ultimate Result Du Clos De Sea-Wind at Gataj (Imp FRA) – 17mth tri not lacking in coat. Dk almond shaped eyes neat ears well tipped full muzzle, deep stop i would prefer less. Good spring of rib, good angulations front and rear, lovely long tail. Good steady mover push him to first place.

1st Skinner – Ladnar Makeithappen for Nikal – Merle 19mths lovely round muzzle, good teeth well tipped ears, beautiful dk eyes and good stop, well arched neck of good length and back of good length. Just loose in rear movement.

1st Bolt & Cronk – Revdvicki’s Raffles at Chelborn – 2yrs 5mth tri with fitted jacket, good length of back, good angulation nice rounded muzzle, good under jaw dk eyes with deep stop,well used ears, lovely arched neck, good length of back and and good length of tail. Mod bone. Balanced standing.

1st Tilly – Ingledene Dark moon Risin over Detillio – 3yr old tri head of good proportion, sweet dk almond shaped eyes, deep stop, I’d prefer less, ears tipped and well used, good construction, great top line, mod bone, good rib cage, coarse coat. RBD

1st Hawkins – Serenlas Black Magic – 2yrs 10mths in a jet black fitted coat not hiding anything. Clean well balanced head used ears well giving lovely expression. Good length of neck and back, angulation front and back balanced which showed in his movement.
2nd Gautrey – Lillyway Landwind – 4yr 9mth shaded sable rounded foreface, ears a little wideset good length of neck and body, tail with collie swirl. M Rear movement was weak.

1st Flower – Androma Dreamcatcher at Serenlas (Imp SVN) – 5yr 11mth Racey shaded sable who looks all male. Lovely proportioned head of clean lines and well moulded, dk almond shaped eyes correctly place and well used ears giving lovely collie expression. Great length of neck nicely arched flowing into well laid shoulders level top line on the move. Good angulation, straight front legs. Tail length good with beautiful white tip.BD
2nd Corben – Astromelias Ulises via Caprioara (Imp ESP) – 61/2 yr another dog that looked all male. Shaded sable nicely moulded face good under jaw, dk almond eyes which unfortunately look claggy today. Ear bang on top but not used. Good neck. Lovely top line with just enough rise over loin. Mod bone nice tight feet.

1st Scamp – Stregato the Maleficent at Marketdene – 7yrs 10mths s/w very pretty head and good underjaw, good length of head, nice reach of neck, great length of back with level top line and good angulations with mod bone.
2nd Denton – Brooklynson Jolene at Rifflesea – 10 ½ s/w well groomed lady, lovely moulded face sm dk almond shaped eyes perfectly tipped ears mod length of body good length of tail nice tight feet. Liked 1st shape better.

1st Melonie – Atirakin Path of Cassiopeia – Nearly 7mths tri rich tan markings and jet black fitted coat with sweet face correctly placed ears, dk oval eyes and nice underjaw. Good length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders with good angulation front and rear. Beautiful long tail with swirl and lovely white tip. Lovely movement, solid girl, look forward to watching her progress.

1st Flower – Serenlas Truly Scrumptious – 11mth s/w with nicely moulded head, good ear placement and beautifully tipped and well used. Lovely arched neck of great length, slightly built lovely length of body and great angulations, good bone and nice long tail. Won this class on maturity.

1st Ware – Wassail Call the Midwife – 4yrs 4mths s/w sweet looking girl rounded muzzle, almond shaped eyes and a deep stop. Ears used well which I would like a bit tighter, mod length of neck which I would prefer to see on a loose lead, it changed the overall appearance of the natural collie stand. Good angulations front and rear well groomed. Moved ok.
2nd Scamp – Aaronwell Allure in Black – 2yrs 4mths tri feminine dk almond shaped eyes deep stop neat ears used well to give sweet expression mod neck good top line.

1st Flower – Serenlas Pumpkin Spice JW – 2yr 10mths shaded sable very feminine lovely fitted jacket which shows off her beautiful shape. Head with parallel planes, narrow muzzle, tipped well used ears and almond shaped eyes with flat skull giving lovely expression. Great angulations front and rear, mod arched neck flowing into correct lay of shoulders and firm top line; moved effortlessly.
2nd Gautrey – Carristina Summer Rhapsody – 5yrs 3mths s/w sweet face good tipped ears dk almond eyes shapes eyes would like a little less stop but still gave a sweet expression. Nice length of neck, good length of body with nice croupe, good hocks moved ok. Well groomed.
