I would like to thank the Society for inviting me to judge along with all the exhibitors that gave me such a wonderful entry and what fun we all had with the muddy conditions but at least it stayed dry!
BIS went to the Rough on the referee’s decision. RBIS was the Smooth and BP the Rough with thanks to my co judge Jill Kelly.

Puppy Dog (1.0)
1st. Warren’s COLDELEE JUPITER RISES WITH BLAMORDER, 11mth, tri colour. Head handles well, correct amount of stop in the right place, nice dark eyes and well used ears all giving a kind expression. Fair amount of neck leading into a nicely placed shoulder. He is at the very leggy stage at the moment but I’m sure this will all settle with age. Movement a little erratic. BPD

Post Graduate Dog (2. 1ab)
1st. Wensley’s CONSTELLA HAZY COSMIC JIVE JW, 19mths tri colour. Finer headed boy with kind eye and well used ears. Lovely length of neck leading into correct fore quarters, good length of back , chest still needs to drop which will come with time, good hind quarters and length of hock. Moves well when settled.
Open Dog (4.1abs)
1st. Smith’s CH/MULTI CH WINTER IS COMING TO TENTOLA, a superb Blue Merle, every inch the champion he is. Head with lovely smooth plains, well moulded, correct stop and kind eye. Ears on top and well used. Long neck flowing into well angulated fore quarters, perfect spring of front pastern, deep chest, just the right length and strength of back leading into good hind quarters. Powerful hocks. Movement was effortless as he flowed around the ring. BOB & RBIS
2nd. Beeney’s CONEYPARK BLACK SABBATH, tri colour who I have done well before, but today he had to give way to the blue merle. He is a very masculine boy with everything in proportion, carrying a tad too much weight today but I believe he now has his well-deserved title. RBD
Veteran Bitch (6. 4abs)
1st. Beeney’s RYECOMBE JOLLY JONQUIL AT CONEYPARK. Sable and white at 11 years she can still give the youngsters a run for their money on the move. Super temperament, sweet expression, uses ears well. Well balanced in body just loosing her underline now.
2nd Carpenter’s PLAISANCE EVA LA BELLE. Blue merle who’s not been a veteran long. She has lovely angulation, nicely balanced, a good size, would just like to see a her carrying a little more body weight. Didn’t really settle on the move today.
Puppy Bitch (1.0)
1st. Rundle’s SHULUNE IMPERIAL DUCHESS. 9 mths tri colour, a real baby but eye-catching young lady that comes into her own once settled on the move. Very feminine head with sweet eye, ears are well placed and used but a little flighty at present, hope they settle. Lovely long neck, good lay back of shoulder, a little open in angulation at the moment, good length of back and depth of chest. Nice bend of stifle. She has loads of promise and I shall watch her progress with interest. BPIB
Junior Bitch (1.0)
1st. SHULUNE IMPERIAL DUCHESS
Post Graduate Bitch (4.1abs)
1st. Lusty’s BLAMORDER TANGO FOR TWO. tri colour of good colour and markings. Pretty head, nicely moulded with flat skull, good ear carriage with correct fold. Excellent front angulation, good depth of chest with well tucked in elbows. Perfect body length and top line, being picky I would just like a little more bend of stifle. Sound bitch who moves out well.
2nd. Caulfield’s CONSTELLA VEGA LUMINOSA. Tri colour of very similar type as 1. Needs time to mature on but developing on the right lines. She has a better bend of stifle but needs to settle on the move.
3rd. Carpenter’s BEDLAMRIDGE MISTY MORNING
Open Bitch (8.2abs)
My notes say WOW! and what a class
1st. Lusty’s BLAMORDER THE HUSTLER Such an eye catching blue merle, head handles well, with smooth lines, good dentition and underjaw. Sweet eye, giving a pleasing expression. Perfect fold in well used ears. That super long neck (when the lead is loosened a bit) flows into perfect front angulation, firm top line, good depth of chest rising up to the right amount of tuck up. Perfect rear angulation, symmetrical to front which all comes together when she moves with drive around the ring. BB
I was knit picking for best of breed and the dog walked away with it on colour alone.
2nd. Lusty’s CH. BLAMORDER ICE CREAM DREAM Another stunning blue merle of very similar make to one. I just preferred the expression of 1 but could easily swop places on another day. RBB
3rd. Benton’s BRACKENHAYE QUEEN OF HEARTS OF OAKESTELLE
Wendy Musty.
